I've loved to fish all my life, from ice fishing on Lake Winnebago in Wisconsin as a kid, fishing in the Bayous from a Pirogue in Louisiana and off the oil rigs when I lived in New Orleans. The Florida Westcoast offers hundred of miles of shoreline for "skinny" water fishing for redfish, speckled trout and snook. Offshore, grouper is a year round standard but seasonally, there are runs of kingfish and mackerel and of course the "silver king" tarpon.
